Located just south of downtown Clearwater, and only 10 minutes from Clearwater Beach, Russell Johns Associates, LLC, founded in 1968, is the country's leading publisher's representative for direct response / small space / recruitment advertising sales and production in consumer, professional, medical and tabloid publications, both in print and online. We are a full-service representative firm offering solutions to the clients who entrust us with their business. We employ approx. 30 dedicated, friendly, exuberant individuals who keep our productivity and atmosphere lively!
We are looking for a team / customer service oriented individual to join our sales staff. Previous sales experience is required with advertising sales experience being a plus. Training is provided. We hope to hear from you!
Job responsibilities include prospecting for and contacting new advertisers, calling on renewals, promoting advertising opportunities and discussing options, upselling when appropriate, database management, closing the sale, acquiring ad materials and agreements, proofreading, report generation, and ad section layouts. You will work closely with our accounting and production departments as well.
