Inside Sales Account Executive

Leading national advertising company based in Clearwater, FL is seeking a full-time Inside Sales Account Executive with 1+ years sales experience. Advertising sales experience a plus.

Located just south of downtown Clearwater, and only 10 minutes from Clearwater Beach, Russell Johns Associates, LLC, founded in 1968, is the country's leading publisher's representative firm connecting publishers and advertisers in the evolving world of digital and print media. We handle the sales, production and accounting of direct response, small space and recruitment advertising in consumer, professional and tabloid publications and websites. We employ 28 dedicated, friendly, exuberant individuals who keep our productivity and atmosphere lively.

We are looking for a team- /customer service-oriented individual who thrives on the challenge of closing the next sale and always keeps a positive attitude while doing so. They must enjoy working in a team environment and building successful external relationships. They must be open to sharing and listening to new ideas.

The Sales Account Executive will:

• Research new lead sources, prospect for and make contact with new advertisers
• Promote the products (magazines, websites, ad sections, etc) they represent
• Discuss advertising options, rates, artwork, etc.
• Acquire advertising materials, contracts, and payment information
• Perform clerical and administrative duties associated with the products they represent utilizing our database
management (CRM) system
• Work in conjunction with our accounting and production departments

Knowledge, Skills, Education and Experience:

• Good oral and written communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in teams and independently
• Ability to interact effectively with other employees
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to perform duties with reasonable speed and accuracy
• Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment, including Microsoft Office and skills in database management and record keeping
• Detail-oriented and skilled at prioritizing and multi tasking
• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, college preferred
• One plus years sales experience.
